As a continuation of it’s “Corporate Social Responsibilty Review 2019″ The Texas Beer Company has decided to include food waste collections throughout selected bars in Texas.
The company conducted a series of extensive food waste trials with The Woodlands Dumpster Rental Bros, its waste contractor,and concluded that 30% of it’s general waste was food waste mainly from food preparation and plate scrapings.
With a view to diverting this significant tonnage of food waste from landfill, the company aim to increase it’s current level of 21,000 tonnes of recycled waste this year.
